Bailey’s journey in real estate began back in 2003 when he started working at Brewer Realty & Appraisal in his hometown of Senatobia, MS. During his time at Brewer, Bailey obtained his MS broker’s license and certified general appraiser license, eager to expand his skills in the industry. But he didn’t stop there – Bailey continued his education through the prestigious Appraisal Institute and received the MAI designation before even turning 30, an impressive accomplishment.

After over 15 years of growth, mentorship, and friendship with the Brewer family, Bailey decided it was time for a new challenge. He took on a new challenge with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Memphis, TN as an Appraiser, taking on appraisal reviews and providing oversight to the appraisal department. Bailey’s diligence and expertise shone through, and he was honored with the Commander’s Award for Civilian Service when his time at the Corps came to an end. The award recognized Bailey’s “dedicated leadership, persistent hard work, and technical expertise in the field of appraisal” that led to the success of the district’s real estate acquisition mission.

In 2021, Bailey felt the entrepreneurial itch and decided it was time to start his own business. He launched Hunt Brothers Realty & Appraisal Services in 2023, teaming up with his brother Bedford to establish the company. With his strong background and passion for the real estate industry, Bailey was ready to take this next step in his career journey.

Outside the office, you’ll find Bailey enjoying life with his high school sweetheart and wife, Margaret, and their two daughters, Sidney Kate and Mary Jenkins. He is an active member of FBC Senatobia, where he serves as a deacon. He enjoys running and traveling the country with his family and is always planning their next family adventure.

With a passion for real estate that began in college, Bedford brings a wealth of experience and dedication to Hunt Brothers Realty & Appraisal Services. While pursuing his degree at the University of Mississippi, where he also worked as a football team manager, Bedford gained valuable skills in leadership, teamwork, and time management. In 2012, after graduating, he eagerly joined his brother at Brewer Realty & Appraisal, starting as an appraiser that same year. His commitment to professional growth continued in 2019 when he obtained his broker license. In 2020, Bedford struck out on his own, launching an independent appraisal practice. Three years later, the Hunt brothers reunited to establish Hunt Brothers Realty & Appraisal Services. As an associate broker and certified residential appraiser, Bedford now channels his skills and analytical mind to benefit his clients.

Yet Bedford’s talents extend beyond real estate. Feeling called to serve his community, he became a firefighter with the Senatobia Fire Department in 2017. He continues to serve the town he loves while balancing his appraisal work.

Outside of work, Bedford enjoys spending time with family. He and his wife Katie Summers, a Greenwood, MS native, have a young son named Davis. The couple are active members of FBC Senatobia, where Bedford serves as a deacon. With boundless energy, he spends most free moments outdoors immersed in nature and adventure.
